Leisa Griffin was raised in the beautiful Ozark Mountains along with her two
brothers where hunting and fishing were just a normal part of life. Being the only daughter was not a problem, as she was taught everything right along with her brothers and was always taught that she could do the hunting and fishing as well as they could. Leisa proudly displays a nice 9 pt. buck on her wall.
Leisa was married in 1995 to Toby Griffin, the eldest son of Wanda Garner and now devotes her full attention to being a wife and mother of two handsome boys, Dustin Tyler, age 8 and Logan David, age 6. One of the legacies that Leisa wants to pass on to her sons is her love for nature and to teach them responsible sportsmanship and to respect our wildlife. Leisa and
her husband can often be found sitting on the banks of a river or pond assisting their small sons in learning the first skills of angling, in a field shooting bows and/or guns at targets, or camping out in one of their favorite spots.
Leisa is a valuable member here at WomenAnglers and works overtime as Assistant Editor and is a member of the Field Staff, as well as assisting wherever needed. Her enthusiasm and commitment to this website and organization has been a real blessing and we applaude her hard work and feel especially privileged to have her as a member of our team. Leisa also serves on the ProStaff of Outdoors Live with her husband, Toby and loves promoting women and children in the outdoors.
