Growing up in the Ozark Mountains in northern Arkansas, Wanda developed a passion for nature and wildlife. She started fishing at an early age with her grandfather in the beautiful Spring River and is now an accomplished angler. Wanda recalls many trips to the river with her grandfather, whom she loved dearly, when so small that he toted her on his hip and would carry her home after she would fall asleep in his boat.
Wanda developed a deep appreciation and love for fishing and one of her greatest pleasures is standing waist-deep in the cool Spring River in search of a trout, walleye or smallmouth bass. Many summer days 
are spent each year camping and fishing with the family while keeping an eye in the distance for the other wildlife that are common in the Ozarks.
Wanda is married to Tommy Garner who is a syndicated outdoor columnist & author, as well as television host for "TransWorld Sportsman". Wanda has four sons, Toby 31, Adam 28, Jason 25, Casey 16 & a step-daughter, Kristi Garner Muston 29. She has 4 wonderful grandsons, Dustin, Logan, Skyler, & Mason and a beautiful granddaughter named Kylea. Wanda & Tommy have two adopted children; Sara Kate who is ten & Elijah age 6. They are also foster parents to five beautiful children & have enjoyed introducing them to the outdoors.
Wanda also enjoys hunting & hunts with bow, modern gun, muzzleloader, & shotgun. Her favorite game to hunt is the whitetail deer & wild turkey, though she also enjoys duck hunting, hunting wild boar and predator hunting.
