TargetShooter and Paintball Targets
by Leisa Griffin

When teaching a child something new, one of the most important things is to keep their attention. My children have a growing interest in the art of archery so my husband and I try to think of new ways to keep things fun and exciting as they learn. We have hung apples from fishing line, filled balloons with water, shot at at box targets and 3D targets, but we are always on the look out for new ideas. While browsing on the internet one day I came across a site that quickly caught my attention, www.creativearcheryproducts.com.

Creative Archery Products offer a new approach to archery with their products such as the TargetShooter and Paintball Targets. These products are not only easy to use, but will keep a young archer entertained as they improve on their skill. They offer a new way to capture your child's interest while keeping things fun and exciting.

The TargetShooter is a light-weight slip-on arrowhead which can be used with both pointed youth arrows and arrows with inserts. It is designed for bows with a draw weight of 10-30 pounds. You simply press the TargetShooter onto your arrow then load a paintball and fire away at a tree, a stump or one of the Paintball Targets

The Paintball Targets are durable, two-sided targets which are washable and easily wipe off for clean up. The Paintball Targets come in a variety of designs. Whether your child wants to colorfully decorate animals and smiley faces as they cover the target with paintballs or chooses to play a game of tic-tac-toe, these are just a few of the designs offered in Paintball Targets.

I watched as the children quickly learned how to reload their arrow with another paintball as they covered the targets with multiple shades of color. Each taking a turn to draw back their bow , take aim and release the arrow toward its intended target. When the fun was over for the day, they took a pail of soapy water we had with us and using a rag wiped the targets clean.

The kids had a blast with these products. I have to admit that although the products were designed for youth I took my own turn at trying them out. I enjoyed watching the color spread as the impact of the paintball hit the target when I used my son's bow to try out the TargetShooter and Paintball Targets.

This is definitely a new, fun and exciting way to capture and hold the interest of someone as they improve on their skill in the art of archery. You can find more information about these products and other products by Creative Archery at www.creativearcheryproducts.com.
