Calamari

3 cups vegetable oil

¼ cup flour

1 tsp salt

1 tsp dried oregano

½ tsp ground black pepper

12 squid, cleaned and cut into rings

1 lemon-cut into wedges for garnish

Preheat oil in deep frying pan. In medium size bowl, mix together the flour, salt, oregano, and black pepper. Dredge squid through flour mixture. Fry in oil for 2 – 3 minutes. Do not overcook, as squid will be tough. Serve with lemon. Also delicious dipped in seafood sauce. ENJOY !!!
