Macadamia Crushed Halibut

2 Cups Miljk

1 egg white

2 Lbs fresh halibut

12 oz. Unsalted macadamia nuts

3/4 Cup flour

1/2 cup fine bread crumbs

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup loosely packed brown sugar

2 tsp soy sauce

3 Tbls butter, melted

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In samll bowl, whisk milk and egg

white together. Cut halibut into 2 X 4 in pices. Lay halibut in baking

pan large enough for fillets not to overlap. Pour milk mixture over

fish and let soak for about 10 minutes. Crush nuts on large plastic

bag with a rolling pin or mallet. Add flour, breadcrumbs, and sugars

to plastic bag. Take fillets from milk mxture and sprinkle with soy

sauce. Place in plastic bag to coat with nut mixture. Place fillets

in a greased 9 X 13 inch baking pan. Drizzle with melted butter.

Bake for 30 minutes or until done. Serves 8.
